CONSULTANCY TEAM MEMBERS
Prof. Jude Kimengsi
Prof. Jude Kimengsi
Prof. Jude Kimengsi has over 13 years of consultancy experience in project performance assessment, situational analysis and project reporting. He has rich experience in needs assessment (including training needs), baseline studies, results-oriented training and reporting in rural development interventions. Between 2012 and 2015, Prof. Kimengsi served as the Coordinator of Project Planning and Head of Research and Consultancy Division of the Pan African Institute for Development – West Africa (PAID-WA) where he headed a series of assignments on project performance assessment, situational analysis and project reporting. He has significant expertise in the use of participatory tools in conducting baseline/feasibility studies and in monitoring and evaluation. He has successfully headed and accomplished several rural development and natural resource management assignments for the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Grass field Participatory and Integrated Rural Development Project (GP-IRDP), The German Technical Cooperation (GIZ), World Wide Fund for Natura (WWF) Germany and Cameroon, Community Action for Development (CAD), Food and Rural Development Consultancy (FORUDEF), Environmental Governance institute (EGI), and Cameroon’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. He served as Lead Consultant for a CAD/WWF assignment on the project performance assessment, situational analysis of green business cooperatives (involved in palm oil production, potatoes and maize farming, pig and poultry farming) in Cameroon. He has equally led the training of 120 farmer groups and local NGOs on project monitoring and evaluation. In 2015 he was hired by CAD to undertake baseline/feasibility studies for the development of an Agricultural Business Plan. He served as a needs assessment and baseline consultant around the Mount Cameroon National Park, under the Programme for the Sustainable Management of Natural Resources (PSMNR) and GIZ. Prof. Kimengsi has strong organizational and community mobilization skills, he can facilitate very well using English, pidgin English and French.
Prof. Balgah Roland Azibo
Prof. Balgah Roland Azibo
Prof. Balgah Roland holds a PhD in Agriculture and Rural Development from Martin Luther University, Halle-Saale (Germany). He has over 10 years of experience in agriculture and rural development work. He has served as Project Coordinator at the SHUMAS Organic Farm Center Project (2007-2008) and has designed several community-led training packages on farm management, crop and pest management and agri-business. He has profound expertise in socio-economic issues of rural development including poverty alleviation, community resource mobilization, lobbying and social mobilization, negotiation and project proposal writing. Prof. Balgah headed a series of consultancy projects under the Pan African Institute of Development West Africa (PAID-WA) between 2011 and 2012, focusing on project performance assessment, situational analysis and project reporting. He has served as an Independent rural development consultant in charge of strengthening the M&E systems of Non-profits and Civil Society Organizations in the North West region. As the Head of the Rural development program of the Presbyterian Rural Training Centre (PRTC) Fonta- Cameroon from 1999-2006, he was involved in mobilization and the development of funded projects
Ms. Kwalar Glory Bonyah
Ms. Kwalar Glory Bonyah
Kwalar Glory worked with People Earth wise where she began as a contractual field staff for both conservation and community education projects. She has also served GeRAS-Cameroon within the framework of educational awareness programs in primary schools. In this capacity, she assisted in tree planting activities in various schools and created awareness on the importance of conservation. She also worked as an intern at the Kimbi-Fungom National park (KFNP) in which she was an assistant to the conservator in charge of economic surveys, and reporting. She was also involved in capacity building sessions organised by the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife. Between October 2017 and April 2018, she served as volunteer at Transparency international, Cameroon under the REDD+ project. She served as project assistant for the project collaborating with partner organisations and government institutions to promote good governance in the forest sector, implementing legal obligations and ensuring proper implementation of projects and reporting on use of project funds. She has been actively engaged in planning and resource mobilization, field-based interventions, baseline data collection, updating work plans, analyzing data and developing/implementing activities in Communal Development Plans. She possesses good communication, leadership, multi-tasking and results-oriented skills.
Mr. Shungzie Eugene
Mr. Shungzie Eugene
As an M.Sc. graduate in Sustainable Development from the Pan African Institute for Development – West Africa (PAID-WA), he has gained over 9 years of experience in consultancy work in Cameroon. Eugene serves as consultancy team member. He has been involved in a series of capacity needs assessment and development programmes for community based groups in the South West and West Regions. Hired by Operation Green Space (OGS), Eugene worked with the GREFF Team to undertake a series of activities including project performance assessment, situational analysis and project reporting, needs assessment (including training needs), baseline studies, results-oriented training and reporting in rural development interventions. Eugene participated in the accomplishment of several rural development and natural resource management assignments for the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Grassfield Participatory and Integrated Rural Development Project (GP-IRDP), The German Technical Cooperation (GIZ), World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Germany and Cameroon, Community Action for Development (CAD), Food and Rural Development Consultancy (FORUDEF), Environmental Governance institute (EGI), and Cameroon’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. He has also been involved in field based interventions and has served under the National Community Driven Development program (PNDP) during village diagnosis and council institutional diagnosis. He can communicate well in English, French and Pidgin.
Mr. Robert Nyah
Mr. Robert Nyah
Mr. Robert Nyah has four years of consultancy experience with GREFF, working as rural development consultant in the North West, South West, South and East regions of Cameroon. Robert was one of the consultants for Operation Green Space (OGS) in a series of capacity development activities (training, sensitization and advocacy) on project performance assessment, situational analysis and project reporting, needs assessment (including training needs), baseline studies, results-oriented training and reporting in rural development interventions. He has competence in feasibility studies and market assessments for community-based products. Robert was team member during the rural development and natural resource management assignments with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Grassfield Participatory and Integrated Rural Development Project (GP-IRDP), World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Germany and Cameroon, Community Action for Development (CAD). 1n 2011, Robert was a co- team leader with the WHO working with vulnerable children in the Bakassi peninsula. He has a great knowledge in agricultural production, focusing on the growth of garden crops and also long-term crop production on a small and large scale.
Ms. Yvette Mekemdem Mboneng
Ms. Yvette Mekemdem Mboneng
Yvette Mekemdem Mboneng has over 12 years of experience in conservation and rural development in Cameroon. She has good experience in biological and socio-economic assessment, education for sustainable development, and project monitoring and reporting. Between 2005 -2017, Yvette served as Technical Field Assistant for the World Wild Fund for Nature where she worked under the thematic areas of community development, education and biological conservation. In this regards, she was actively engaged in field-based interventions in the Bakossi and Ebo Landscapes. She has expertise in group mobilization and formation. Yvette also assisted in monitoring and evaluation activities under WWF. Here she assessed the activities of Community Based Organisations (CBOs) carrying out initiatives that support community livelihood, sustainable development and forest conservation like bee farming, snail farming, poultry farming, and organic farming . She has significant expertise in the use of participatory tools and techniques in conducting socio-economic assessment, baseline and feasibility studies, monitoring and evaluation. While working with WWF as an Education for sustainable Development (ESD) Assistant, she help in increasing the awareness of local communities and school children of the nine pilot schools surrounding the Bakossi Landscape area on environmental and sustainable development issues. Yvette Mboneng is skilful in socio- economic data collections and analysis, monitoring and reporting of projects activities and a strong ability working with the local communities and government authorities. She has very excellent oral and written communication skills both in French and English.
Mr. Abdulai Assan Nkuh
Mr. Abdulai Assan Nkuh
ABDULAI Assan N. has over 5 years of expertise in the field of Agriculture. He has rich experience in needs assessment (including training needs), baseline studies, results-oriented training and reporting in agronomic interventions. Since 2012 he was involved in several agricultural projects, including the facilitation of training for students of the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Science (FASA) of the University of Dschang. He was also a member of “Green Earth Food Security Agency” (GEFSA) where they develop demonstration sites for crops such as maize, cabbage, carrots, onions and beans in Cameroon. He has significant expertise in the Agronomic sector in the production and transformation of staple crops in the western highlands of Cameroon. He is serving Green Forest Foundation as Agronomic Facilitator in several crop sectors including maize and potato production and transformations in several Production Basins in the North West Region of Cameroon. He has equally led the training of 120 farmer groups and local NGOs on project monitoring and evaluation. Mr Abdulai has strong organizational and community mobilization skills, he can facilitate very well using English, pidgin English and French.
Dr. Joseph Tosam Ngong
Dr. Joseph Tosam Ngong
Dr. Joseph Tosam has over 7 years of consultancy experience in project performance assessment, monitoring, evaluating and project reporting. Between 2013 and 2017, Dr. Joseph Tosam Ngong served as Independent Monitor, Surveyor and Supervisor with UNICEF and WHO for the Polio and Yellow Fever immunization campaigns in Ekondo Titi, Bakassi and Mundemba health districts, South West Region of Cameroon. He was charged with the responsibility of monitoring, supervising and reporting during and after the campaigns (performance assessment, situational analysis and project reporting). Thus he has significant expertise in conducting performance assessment and in monitoring and evaluation. In 2016 Dr Joseph Tosam was one of the trainers in a cocoa Farmer Field Cchool (FFS) in Kumbe Balue, (SWR) organized in partnership with TELCAR, CARGILL’S joint venture partner in Cameroon with input from the World Cocoa Foundation (WCF). Emphasis on the training was on improved production techniques and on Integrated Crop and Pest Management (ICPM). Presently he is one of the trainers with Green Forest Foundation (GREFF) and they are involved in a project on the training of farmers on crop production and commodification in the production basins in the North West Region of Cameroon, funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Government of Cameroon. Dr. Tosam is goal oriented, hardworking and dynamic and possess good qualitative and analytical skills and can facilitate very well using English as well as in pidgin English.
Dr. Nyong Princely Awazi
Dr. Nyong Princely Awazi
Nyong Princely Awazi holds a PhD in Agroforestry and Valuation of Ecosystem Services from the University of Dschang, Cameroon. Since 2016, he has worked extensively on different projects dealing with environmental issues in general and agroforestry in particular. Most of these projects have been carried out under the tutelage of the Department of Forestry – University of Dschang, as well as some environmental Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) like the African Food Security and Climate Army (AFSACA) – an NGO with headquarters in Dschang, West Region of Cameroon and Common Initiative Groups like the Twantoh Mixed Farming Common Initiative Group (MIFACIG), based in Bello sub-division, North-West Region of Cameroon. He has equally been working with the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR) on different projects geared towards promoting climate change mitigation, landscape restoration and sustainable livelihoods through the use of bamboo and rattan. He has over four (04) years of working experience which has enabled him to gain enormous insights on the cross-cutting domains of agroforestry, forestry, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and natural resource management. He can work in a team as well as individually to accomplish complex tasks. He is able to work effectively in both the French and English languages.
Dr. Gwan Solange Akhere
Mrs. Gwan Solange Akhere
Gwan Solange is currently finalizing her doctoral work on “Landscape restoration processes in the Western Highlands of Cameroon”. She is recipient of the Norwegian Quota Scheme scholarship program, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Development Geography from the University of Oslo, Norway. Solange has been a member of the Green Forest Foundation since 2012 when she started as an intern. She fully joined the team in 2013 as a team member and now, she serves as a Field Staff. She has actively taken part in some of GREFF’s activities including strategic plan development and the capacity building of CAD-sponsored farming groups in the Bakossi Landscape. She is also instrumental in the design of project proposal for GREFF in areas of cooperative governance and conflict management. Her long service with GREFF has given her a very rich and vibrant development projects and consultancy experience especially with the many projects realized for CAD and WWF. She is a good team player.
Dr. Gadinga Walter Forje
Dr. Gadinga Walter Forje
Dr. Gadinga Walter Forje has over 5 years of consultancy experience in project conceptualization, implementation, monitoring and reporting. He is grounded in baseline surveys, natural resources and rural community research training and sensitization. In 2014 and 2015, Dr. Forje was the lead investigator in the northern cluster of the Korup national park on NTFPs value chain development, funded by the Program for the Sustainable Management of Natural Resources for the South West (PSMNR-SW). In this capacity, he carried out need assessment, value chain analysis and reporting for PSMNR-SW. Dr. Forje has a huge experience working in rural communities on livelihood and natural resource related issues. He is apt in participatory rapid appraisal tools. In 2019, he was a co consultant in the development of bamboo policy for Cameroon, sponsored by the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR)-Ghana. In the same year, he was the lead research consultant for bamboo resource assessment for Cameroon in the Western Highlands Agro-Ecological Zone. In 2020, he was hired by FORKABS-Canada as a co-consultant for rattan inventory in Cameroon for INBAR-CARO. Since 2020 till date, he is hired as a community steward in the Western Highlands of Cameroon for sustainable bamboo value chain development. He is also a co-consultant in the development of a feasibility in the development of a sustainable community based tourism in the Bakossi Landscape for WWF and CAD. He has equally led the training of research experts across the 10 regions of Cameroon on Bamboo propagation methods and bamboo value chain development in 2020. Dr. Forje has excellent community mobilization skills, strong organizational skills and works conveniently with timelines. He is fluent in the usage of English, Pidgin English and French as working languages.
Ms. Tangi Nneh Kieng
Ms. Tangi Nneh Kieng
Nneh Kieng is a PhD student currently studying natural resource and environmental management at the University of Buea. She has passion and hands-on experience in food security, environmental protection, project writing with the ability to multi-task, collect and analyze data with efficiency. At Cameroon Association of Rural Development (CARD) Bamenda, she organized and facilitated workshops on water supply management. Implemented, monitored and evaluated multiple WASH projects, and equally served as a liaison’s person amongst the beneficiaries (the authorities in charge and the community) of WASH projects.
At the Greens she served as a Research assistant where she participated in tree planting projects, capacity building projects , radio programs and other projects in line with environmental conservation. She volunteers at National Volunteers forum as the programs coordinator, where she conceives projects and assist in the analysis of Data .
In addition to these, she is a quick learner, very organized, fast adaptability and a team player
Mr. Ravenstein Awuh
Mr. Ravenstein Awuh
Mr. Ravenstein Awuh has over 6 years of consultancy experience in project performance assessment, situational analysis and project reporting. He has solid background in needs baseline studies, results-oriented training and reporting in rural development interventions. Mr. Awuh served as Project Officer at Cameroon Environmental Science Society– CamESS Between 2009 and 2012, where he handled a series of assignments on project performance assessment, situational analysis and project reporting. He possesses significant expertise in the use of participatory tools in conducting baseline/feasibility studies and in monitoring and evaluation. He has successfully operated as a consultant and accomplished several rural development and natural resource management assignments for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Cameroon, Community Action for Development (CAD), Food and Rural Development Consultancy (FORUDEF), Environmental Governance institute (EGI). He served as a Consultant for a CAD/WWF assignment on the project performance assessment, situational analysis of green business cooperatives (involved in palm oil production, potatoes and maize farming, pig and poultry farming) in Cameroon. He has equally facilitated the training of 120 farmer groups and local NGOs on project monitoring and evaluation. Mr. Mathias Mawo Lon
Mr. Mathias Mawo Lon
Mr. Mathias Mawo has been serving in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as, an extension agent in various capacities, programs and projects for many years. He studied agricultural enterprise and cooperative management in 2007. Mr. Mawo is also a trained Agricultural Engineer with specialty in Agricultural Economics, Rural Sociology and Extension. He obtained an MSc in Integrated Rural Development and Extension in 2015 and served as Chief of Agricultural Post and Zonal Extension with several National Agricultural Extension Programs. He has served the Upper Nun Valley Development Authority (UNVDA) for many years as Capacity Building Officer. Mr. Mawo participated in the baseline survey of the cocoa-coffee sector project in many parts of Cameroon. Besides his extensive experience in agriculture and rural development, Mr. Mawo is a seasoned rice production expert, and very good in building the capacity of farmers for value addition/commodification of processed rice products. Within the framework of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Project, he serves as a consultant/trainer for GREFF, for lowland and upland rice crop production and commodification in production basins in the North West Region.
Dr Tabi Kingsley Mbi
Dr Tabi Kingsley Mbi
Dr TABI KINGSLEY MBI is a crop scientist specialized in the area of crop improvement. He has a huge experience of over 10 years working with quite a number of local and International non-governmental organizations interested in the area of local development. Between 2010 and 2012 he worked with the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV) in the Center, East and South Regions of Cameroon where he served as an assistant trainer to build the aptitude of farmers in production of non forest timber products like Njangsa, bush Mango and Kontri onions. Within this same period he was contracted as an assistant trainer by Association Camerounaise pour le Development Durable et Innovation (ACDDI), in a project titled “Livelihood of maize producers and environmental screening in the maize chain value in the North West and Far North Regions of Cameroon”. In 2014 he worked as field trainer with the specialized Center for oil palm research, IRAD la Dibamba, where he build farmers capacity on conception and realization of a modern oil palm nursery and palm plantation in many villages in the Sanaga maritime division. He serves Green Forest Foundation in the Capacity of an Agronomist. In this capacity, he facilitated trainings organized by Grass field Participatory and Integrated Development Project (GP-IRDP) and tge Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) on the capacity building of farmers in the production chain of some crops including cassava, maize and oil palm in four basins in the North West Region of Cameroon.
Mr. Ngwa Kester Azibo
Mr. Ngwa Kester Azibo
Ngwa Kester holds a Master of Science degree in Rural development and Administration since 2014. He has served as data analyst in several rural development projects in the North West region of Cameroon. For instance, he was data analyst on needs assessment for the development of renewable energy sources under Social Enterprise for Environmental Development (2018), and data analyst and interpreter on the yields and impact of improved cassava varieties with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in 2017. Between 2010 and 2013, Ngwa Kester was Project staff/Data Analyst in the Agriculture and Environmental Management Department of the Strategic Humanitarian Services (SHUMAS) Cameroon. In this capacity, his focus was to develop the capacities of women and youth groups on sustainable agricultural production through the practice of organic farming and agroforestry, tree nursery establishment and protection of water catchments, life fencing feasibility studies, monitoring and reporting of projects outside the department. As consultant with Community Assistance in development (COMAID), he supported the analysis and reporting of data on the performance of Heifer Project International in the North West Region.
Ms Atiekum Zipporah Enjongaya

ATIEKUM is a second year Ph.D student in the Department of Geography and Planning of the Faculty of Art (FA) of the University of Bamenda-Cameroon. She has over 02 scientific publications in different domains in the field of resource exploitation (water) in the development of Rural areas. Currently she is working on migration patterns and land resource use practices in the Mungo Corridor, Cameroon.

Alusoh Nwune Constantine holds an MSc in Environmental/Heath Economics from the University of Bamenda, Cameroon and currently a Ph.D research student of Economics in the same University. He has equally been involved in data analysis of academic and non-academic projects, consultant in the business world and a team member with Green Forest Foundation (GREFF). He has over ten (10) years of working experience which has enabled him to gain enormous insights on the cross-cutting domains of community development and capacity building. He can work in a team as well as individually to accomplish complex tasks. He is able to work effectively in English languages.

Jude Kimengsi is an Excellence Initiative Research Fellow at the Technische Universität Dresden (Germany), and an Associate Professor in Resource and Environmental Geography at the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. Between 2017 and 2019, he served as Postdoctoral Research and Teaching Fellow at the Technische Universität Dresden (Germany) where he also received the prestigious German Research Foundation (DFG) Research Grant. Prior to this, Jude Kimengsi was Senior Lecturer/Researcher and Head of Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at the Catholic University of Cameroon (CATUC). He was later promoted to serve as Director of Research in the same university. From 2012 to 2015, he was Consultant on Sustainable Development and Coordinator of Research, Consultancy and Publications Division at the Pan African Institute for Development – West Africa (PAID-WA). Jude is a pioneer Fellow of the Cameroon Academy of Young Scientists (CAYS). He has over 90 publications on linked issues of rural development, natural resource management, project sustainability and conflict management, and environmental planning. His current research seeks to apply mixed-methods approaches to unbundle the (dis)connections between institutions, resource management and spatial planning. Jude Kimengsi was Expert Reviewer of the First Order Draft (FOD) Contribution to the forthcoming Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC’s) Sixth Assessment Report (Working Group III). He is an Associate Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences, and Board Member of the Global Environmental Non-Migration Network. Currently, Jude serves as Associate Editor for Nature (Social Sciences), published by Springer, and Scientific African Journal (Social Sciences and Policy Section), published by Elsevier. Under the University of Cologne (Germany), he has been serving since 2016 as DAAD/DIES Regional Expert on grant proposal writing, where he has intervened in several African countries including Namibia, Senegal, Ethiopia, Tanzania Togo and the DRC. He is reviewer for several journals including: Journal of Environmental Planning and Management (Taylor and Francis), Forest Policy and Economics (Elsevier), Environmental Research Letters (IOP Science), Sustainability (MDPI), Climatic Change (Springer), Social Sciences (MDPI) and Forests (MDPI).

Prof. Balgah is a seasoned scientist who has served as Principal Investigator for a series of projects with the Volkswagen Foundation (Germany). He has over 80 scientific publications in the fields of agricultural, rural development, agribusiness, climate change and sustainable development. Prof. Balgah headed a series of consultancy projects under the Pan African Institute of Development West Africa (PAID-WA) between 2011 and 2012. He has strong expertise in the design of research instruments, the conduct of research and in scientific writing.

Njiysinyuy Elizabeth Nyuykighanse holds a BSc in Sociology and Anthropology (2015) and a professional Masters in Planning. She has experience working on project design, implementation, monitoring and reporting. She is grounded in baseline surveys, natural resources and rural community sensitization. She has competence in needs assessment, and in the use of participatory rapid appraisal tools. Elizabeth is a social team worker who seeks nothing but the best out of everything. She has excellent community mobilization skills, strong organizational skills and works conveniently with timelines. She is fluent in the usage of English, Pidgin English and understands French as working languages.

Nyong Princely Awazi holds a Ph.D in the field of environmental management, with specialty in Agroforestry and Valuation of Ecosystem Services from the Department of Forestry, Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences, University of Dschang, Cameroon. Since 2014 he has been doing research on the cross-cutting themes of agroforestry, forestry, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and natural resource management. As of July 2021, he has over 28 publications (articles, conference papers, and book chapters) in journals published by reputable publishing houses such as Elsevier, Springer, Taylor and Francis as well as Academic Journals. His research focuses on environmental management in general and agroforestry in particular. His current research dwells on bioeconomy, ecotourism, climate change adaptation and mitigation, and agroforestry. He serves as a reviewer and has reviewed over 400 papers for different journals including Agroforestry Systems, Regional Environmental Change, Scientific African, SN Social Sciences, and many other Academic Journals. He is equally an editor for “Open Journal of Forestry” published by Scientific Research. He is affiliated to different research platforms including Scopus; Google Scholar; ResearchGate; Academia; Publons; Mendeley; Web of Science; and Elsevier’s Reviewer Hub.

Dr. Joseph Tosam Possess excellent research qualities and as such he is capable of performing individually assigned task and can easily integrate with others in team work. He holds a Ph.D degree in Economics from University of Bamenda (UBa) and specialises in the field of Agriculture and Environmental Economics. Between 2011-2013 he served as a Teaching/Research Assistant, Department of Economics and Management, University of Buea. From 2017 – 2021 he has been a Part time lecturer with Higher Institute of Management Studies (HIMS) Buea where he teaches among others MBA courses such as Advanced Marketing Theory and Practice, Project Management and International Human Resource Management. He was recently recruited as a lecturer in the department of Economics in the University of Maroua, Cameroon. Dr Joseph Tosam has six publications to his credit with many still in progress. He has attended and presented some of his write-ups in a host of conferences at the international scene. On the 1-2 December 2016, he attended the 3rd Witten Conference on Institutional Change; Institutions in Development Research: New Buzzword or Real Impact? Witten/Herdecke University, Germany, where he presented on: Reflections on local Institutional Approaches to Economic Development. The case of some selected African countries. On the 20 – 24 November 2019, he attended the 2nd Congress of the African Scientific, Research and Innovation Council (ASRIC) Abuja – Nigeria, where he presented on: Economic Implications of Cocoa Production on the farmers’ Welfare in South West Region of Cameroon.

ABDULAI is a third year Ph.D student in the Department of Agriculture of the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Science (FASA) of the University of Dschang-Cameroon. He has over 09 scientific publications in the field of Agriculture. These scientific works revolve around pesticide use practices and pesticide residues in market gardening crops. Currently he is working on the assessment of heavy metals in soils, crop and water arising from Agrochemical usage in the Foumbot Production Basin of Cameroon. He has reviewed articles in some journals such Internal Journal of Agricultural Policy and Research.

Gwan Solange is currently finalizing her doctoral research on “Landscape restoration processes in the Western Highlands of Cameroon”. She is recipient of the Norwegian Quota Scheme scholarship program, where she earned a Master’s Degree in Development Geography from the University of Oslo, Norway. She is a budding researcher with 9 publications to her credit. Her interests have been centered on development activities and sustainable livelihood. Her current interest is in landscape restoration in the Western Highlands of Cameroon. She has attended and presented in some international conferences like the Herrenhausen International Conference on “Urban Agricultural Heritage -And the Shaping of Future Cities”, Organised by the Volkswagen Foundation and the University of Aachen (Germany), May 2019, Hannover, Germany. Here she presented on ‘What urban agricultural technologies for our growing cities? A Comparative analysis of West and Central African cities’. She was also speaker at the Third Witten Conference on Institutional Change: Institutions in Development Research December 2016, Witten/Herdecke University, Germany and presented on ‘Challenges and Blueprints of Building Local non-state institutions for Sustainable Development in Africa’. She has been actively involved in other virtual conferences like the global Landscape Forum. Solange has a passion for research and she combines development practice and research work. She serves as Research Assistant during the execution of Research Consultancies.

Dr TABI KINGSLEY MBI is a crop scientist specialized in the area of crop improvement. He has a huge experience of over 10 years working with quite a number of local and International non-governmental organizations interested in the area of local development. Between 2010 and 2012 he worked with the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV) in the Center, East and South Regions of Cameroon where he served as an assistant trainer to build the aptitude of farmers in production of non forest timber products like Njangsa, bush Mango and Kontri onions. Within this same period he was contracted as an assistant trainer by Association Camerounaise pour le Development Durable et Innovation (ACDDI), in a project titled “Livelihood of maize producers and environmental screening in the maize chain value in the North West and Far North Regions of Cameroon”. In 2014 he worked as field trainer with the specialized Center for oil palm research, IRAD la Dibamba, where he build farmers capacity on conception and realization of a modern oil palm nursery and palm plantation in many villages in the Sanaga maritime division. He serves Green Forest Foundation in the Capacity of an Agronomist. In this capacity, he facilitated trainings organized by Grass field Participatory and Integrated Development Project (GP-IRDP) and tge Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) on the capacity building of farmers in the production chain of some crops including cassava, maize and oil palm in four basins in the North West Region of Cameroon.

Ravenstein Awuh is a Strong Research Fellow of Geography and Planning at the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. Presently, He is a doctoral Research and Teaching Fellow at the University of Bamenda, Cameroon. He has 2 publications on linked issues of rural development, natural resource management, sustainable development and conflict management, and environmental planning. His current research seeks to apply mixed-methods approaches to unbundle the gaps between stakeholders in waste management and spatial planning. Ravenstein Awuh was Expert Research fellow with SustenIpra at the institute of Science and Technology of the Autonomous University of Barcelona where he Graduated with a master’s degree in Environmental Studies. While in Barcelona he undertook Research on Material flow analysis in incineration plans of Barcelona.

Gadinga Walter Forje is a Ph.D. holder in Environmental Science with specialization in Natural Resources Management, of Department of Forestry in the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Dschang. He has over 10 publications which are linked to rural development, natural resource management, and sustainable tourism. His current research seeks to apply mixed-methods approaches to uncover the state-of-the-art of ecotourism governance in sub Saharan Africa. Gadinga Walter Forje is a reviewer for several journals amongst which are: Scientific African (Elservier), International Journal of Biodiversity and Conservation (Academic Journals) and Journal of Hospitality Management and Tourism (Academic Journals).

Ngwa Kester holds a Master of Science degree in Rural development and Administration since 2014. He is currently a Doctoral researcher at the Bamenda University of Science and Technology (BUST). Kester served as data analyst in several rural development projects in the North West region of Cameroon. For instance, he was data analyst on needs assessment for the development of renewable energy sources under Social Enterprise for Environmental Development (2018), and data analyst and interpreter on the yields and impact of improved cassava varieties with the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in 2017. Between 2010 and 2013, Ngwa Kester was Project staff/Data Analyst in the Agriculture and Environmental Management Department of the Strategic Humanitarian Services (SHUMAS) Cameroon. In this capacity, his focus was to develop the capacities of women and youth groups on sustainable agricultural production through the practice of organic farming and agroforestry, tree nursery establishment and protection of water catchments, life fencing feasibility studies, monitoring and reporting of projects outside the department. As consultant with Community Assistance in development (COMAID), he supported the analysis and reporting of data on the performance of Heifer Project International in the North West Region. Kester has several scientific articles to his credit.
